One Call Home Assist helps bring Christmas cheer to Edinburgh renters

Property maintenance experts at a leading Scottish building firm have helped save a West Lothian family from suffering a festive disaster.

Edinburgh-based maintenance company One Call Home Assist was called out on December 25th to help a stranded family in Livingston, whose gas supply had broken down just before they were due to cook their Christmas dinner.

The distraught tenants from Craigshill feared that they would have to forgo their turkey and trimmings and be faced with a less-than-festive feast of leftovers instead. But thanks to a regular maintenance contract organized between their landlord and One Call Home Assist, the tenants were able to get their gas leak fixed quickly and in time for Christmas dinner.

So far, the company has agreed to provide emergency maintenance services on a number of independent guest houses and nursing homes across the Lothians, and has taken enquiries from major high street retailers about setting up contracts on their commercial properties.

Property maintenance expert One Call Home Assist has secured another major success after agreeing a deal to provide emergency repairs and maintenance with a leading Scottish letting company.

The Edinburgh-based firm, which provides maintenance contracts designed to help homeowners and landlords save thousands of pounds in repair bills, has agreed a deal with Karaman Lettings to provide emergency repairs on some of its portfolio of properties.
